August always feels like the month when summer asks us to slow down and enjoy what is right in front of us.
The evenings are still long, the farmers markets are full, and the Eastside feels especially alive with outdoor movies, waterfront walks, concerts, gardens, and family time before the rhythm of fall returns. It is also a natural time to look around the house and ask what needs attention before cooler weather and rain come back into the picture.
Whether this month finds you traveling, hosting, enjoying the lake, or simply catching a quiet evening at home, I hope August gives you a little space to enjoy the season.
